Today, Teshia was dragged out by Kyre to shop for supplies, walking along the bustling streets near Seteria School, past busy shops on both sides.

"Let's go buy some books at that big staff store on the corner," Kyre said before picking up the pace while reading the list in his hand.

"Kyre, do you know the guy with silver hair who walked in with me?" As they headed to the staff store, the sweet-faced young man inquired, unable to help his curiosity to ask Kyre.

"Interested, are you?" Kyre teased. For his companion to take an interest in someone, it could be described in one word: rare!!

But Kyre didn't realize that his playful question made Teshia hesitate, his blue eyes flickering uncharacteristically. Was he really interested? When had he started taking an interest in someone?

"Maybe," Teshia finally responded after a long silence, unwilling to admit it but not wanting to lie to himself either.

The two young men entered the renowned staff store of the capital city of the Drago Kingdom, wasting no time in telling the clerk the books they needed. The clerk asked them to wait a moment before going to fetch the books.

"You haven't answered yet," Teshia pressed, forcing those sea-green eyes to meet his, but this time, they were filled with surprise.

"You really don't know?" the redhead asked his companion, astonished, and all he got was a head shake in response.

"That man is the prince of Sivia," Sivia is the second-largest kingdom after Drago, a powerful and significant nation, no less than Drago.

Kyre paused briefly to receive two sets of textbooks from the clerk and pay, then turned to address the lingering question for his friend.

"Seius Ferawen, the Prince of Sivia," Kyre said, providing the information Teshia wanted to know, still puzzled as to why Teshia was unaware of something so widely known.

"Seriously, what kind of traveler are you, not knowing the famous heir to the throne of Sivia?" Kyre began to tease, initially not wanting to question but given Teshia's blatant ignorance, he felt compelled to probe. Despite knowing it might not be well received, Teshia managed to navigate the conversation, finding a way out even though he knew his answers were a bit forced.

“I apologize for being more accustomed to traveling at sea than on land. I may have heard his name but have never seen his face,” the young man with blue hair spoke smoothly. Naturally, his redhead friend didn't believe him but chose not to question further.

"Then, why are you interested?" Kyre asked, noting the typically cool demeanor of his companion who seldom took interest in anyone so quickly, making him curious about this sudden interest.

"He's very skilled," Teshia responded plainly, which surprised Kyre. To the point of complimenting the other party?

“Really?... If even you commend him, he must be extraordinarily skilled," Kyre's sea-green eyes sparkled with the delight of a child getting a new toy. Despite hearing rumors about the prince's prowess, Teshia’s own acknowledgment suggested it was even beyond those tales.

"Let's drop it. He'll show up soon enough..." Teshia intended to change the topic, but before he could finish speaking,

Thud... the speaker himself was suddenly on the ground, having been bumped into by a larger figure, resulting in the taller person toppling onto him.

"To bother me again," the young man with blue hair managed to finish his sentence upon seeing who had stumbled and fallen on top of him.

"Watch where you’re going," Teshia immediately snapped at the other party. His icy blue eyes clouded over with anger.

"Who exactly?" the other retorted. Those emotionless silver eyes seemed to cool further, yet the person being stared at wasn’t intimidated; instead, Teshia returned the gaze unflinchingly.

The temperature in the store seemed to gradually drop. Kyre thought, hugging himself from the chill, as both parties released such pressure in a face-off. Even as Kyre entertained these thoughts, his green eyes remained fixed on the scene ahead, almost as if he were enjoying the spectacle. It wasn't his fault he found it amusing. This was like two dragons clashing. Both were formidable, and a fight between them would likely be evenly matched.

“What’s the matter, your highness?” The guards who had dispersed but were still nearby hurried over to check on the situation, though the scene before them only caused Teshia to feel even more irritated!!

“It’s nothing, just someone not watching where they’re going,” came the cool reply to his guards, deliberately provoking the young man involved. The gaze remained fixed on the sweet-faced young man, not shifting away.

Damn it…Teshia gritted his teeth with anger; this guy thinks having guards around means he won’t dare do anything. Well, he’s mistaken.

Thud... But before Teshia could react further, a hurried young boy bumped into Teshia and Seius, knocking them down again. The boy quickly got up and apologized to both of them.

"Sorry about that. I didn't mean to," the young boy pleaded for mercy, prompting the prince of Sivia to forgive him and let him go. The two young men checked themselves, but something was missing.

Both immediately looked for the boy. When they spotted him moving further away, they quickly chased after him. The sweet-faced young man couldn't help but feel irritated, regretting keeping Fok at the hotel, damn it.

The crowded street made the chase difficult, so they decided to jump onto rooftops to keep up with the boy.

In a dim and damp alley, the little boy quickly turned in. The two young men following jumped down from the wall silently.

"Mom… I'm back," the boy’s voice called out behind a large curtain. The two visitors slowly peeked behind the old fabric and saw a woman lying on a thin, tattered mat, her face haggard due to a severe illness.

"Mom, I'll buy you medicine now," the boy said, unaware of Seius and Teshia's presence until he turned around.

"We're here to get our stuff back," the young man with blue hair said coldly. His ice-blue eyes were chillingly cold. The boy looked at the wallet in his hand that he had snatched from the two, weighing his options, prompting Teshia to sigh.

"Just give it back, and I'll take care of your mother," although his tone softened, his eyes remained as frosty as ever.

"How can I trust you?" Teshia turned to Seius, signaling him to say something, but all he saw was the tall figure of the young man with silver hair, arms crossed, leaning against the wall and looking silently at him and the boy. It was maddeningly irritating—what a poser!!

"I guarantee it with the head of the Prince of Sivia." The words made the boy smile broadly before he returned the wallet without hesitation. Unlike the important prince, whose silver eyes glared full of menace at anyone who dared to use his name as a guarantee, the speaker was unbothered because, for now, he felt gloat!!

Teshia approached the woman, who was unconscious. His hand hovered in the air in front of her forehead, and a faint blue light emanated from his palm before he moved his hand along her body to her toes.

"What's wrong with her?" the cool voice asked once Teshia finished examining her. Actually, Seius could heal just as well, but seeing the blue-haired young man with him capable, he saw no need to intervene.

"Nothing serious, just needs some medicine and a healing spell," the makeshift healer said before preparing a mix from his supplies. As a killer who always faced danger, carrying medicine and healing tools was a form of preparedness, enabling Teshia to tend to the woman.

It wasn't long before the medicine was ready. Teshia placed the medicine above the woman's head and began to cast a spell to merge the healing magic with the medicine. Soon, a bright light emanated from the medicine bowl and the woman's body, and when the light disappeared, the bowl was empty.

The young man with blue hair checked again; finding nothing amiss, he stepped back to stand beside Seius, waiting for the woman to awaken.

Within a few minutes, the woman in front slowly opened her eyes. The boy, overjoyed, rushed to embrace his mother.

Seius watched the scene, nodding in satisfaction with the outcome of the treatment. Unlike Teshia, who observed emotionlessly with his icy blue eyes.

He never had a family, only a mother and a brother who took care of him, though they were rarely together. The rest, if not enemies to be eliminated, only approached him to curry favor for their own gain from his position. As time passed, the many affairs within the palace walls erased the smile of that young boy, leaving only a cold demeanor that persisted to this day.

The figures of the two young men disappeared quietly, as if not wanting to disrupt the mother and son's joy. However, for Teshia, the visit today wasn't in vain. At least he learned that humans, like demons, can suffer from illness.

But the two likely didn't hear the words of thanks carried by the wind... a heartfelt gratitude from the mother and son.
