The Twilight Knight was soaring through the trees at a speed no less than when flying high above the open sky. It seemed that no obstacle could slow down this dragon. Its fiery eyes cautiously scanned the surroundings, mirroring its master, Teshia, who took in every detail as Fok flew by. Aside from the animals living in the forest, magical creatures, and traps, Teshia saw no sign of the dome, their intended target.

"Fok, fly higher," the young man commanded, prompting Fok to ascend above the treetops. But beyond the trees, he still couldn't find the dome.

Teshia frowned, feeling that they were wasting too much time. Continuing to fly like this could exhaust Fok, and although it would be a while before that happened, he didn't want to drag out the time unnecessarily.

"Fok, fly lower," Teshia changed his command, and Fok descended back into the forest. Flying high earlier had only revealed a dense canopy of tightly packed treetops, so if the dome was hidden below, he wouldn't have known. The young man opted to return to flying within the forest.

Thump... thump... A noise caught the young man's attention, prompting him to look around for the source. Fok’s fiery eyes also swept the area cautiously.

Thump... thump... The sound came from one side, causing Teshia to frown in displeasure. Now that he had pinpointed the sound's location, he was annoyed because it wasn't far. Had he been careless, or was the other party too skilled, to have come so close without his noticing sooner?

"Fok, use the Fireball of Dusk," Teshia stated flatly. The Twilight Knight obeyed immediately, opening its mouth wide. Soon, a solid black orb of energy formed inside, waiting for just one more command from its master.

"Take it down," Teshia’s voice was cold as his blue eyes sparkled, and at that command, the black energy orb shot from Fok’s mouth directly towards the source of the strange noise.

    Boom!!

The echoing explosion was audible, yet it only made the young man bite his lip in frustration. The dark power ball hadn't hit its target at all. He clearly sensed the magic aura of the adversary. If it weren't for a protective barrier erected by the enemy, it would mean that his opponent had already destroyed Fok's fireball.

Whoosh... In the blink of an eye, a silver energy ball shot out from the forest, speeding towards him just as fast. However, Fok managed to dodge it in time, letting the energy ball whoosh past. Had he been slower, he might have fallen off Fok's back.

    Greez...!!!

A ferocious roar from another dragon indicated that Teshia was not alone in his frustration. Even now, Fok was beginning to show signs of irritation. The Twilight Knight increased his flying speed, but the pursuing dragon was not giving up either. Both parties refused to yield, exchanging bursts of black and silver energy intermittently. Anyone hit by these powerful attacks would likely be knocked off their dragon.

Greez... Fok roared impatiently, his mouth widening further. In no time, a massive orb of dense black energy formed within. His fiery eyes glared menacingly to the side, through the dense trees, knowing his adversary was there.

Whoosh... What was released wasn't just an energy orb anymore but a stream of black power with devastating force.

Boom... An explosive sound accompanied by a shockwave that spread wide, indicating that the opponent had countered with equally formidable power directly.

The blue eyes briefly showed surprise, admitting his astonishment at the power of the opposing dragon, which seemed as potent as the Twilight Knight. This meant the adversary was also highly skilled, not to be underestimated. But soon, those eyes returned to their usual impassive state upon hearing the next sound.

    Thump!!

It was the sound of something heavy hitting the ground. Had the young man with blue hair not possessed exceptionally sharp hearing, he wouldn't have caught that faint noise while riding on the fast-moving Fok. As an assassin with a keen sense of sound, the sound from just a moment ago would never have penetrated his ears. Teshia commanded Fok to circle back to the spot and land, then he walked over to inspect his opponent who had fallen from their dragon.

A young man slowly rose from the ground, brushing off bits of leaves from his shirt. His short silver hair fluttered in the wind, matching his icy silver eyes that harbored anger beneath a cool, handsome face. His demeanor was elegant and powerful. However, it wasn’t these features that made Teshia pause. Instead, it was the overwhelming magic and murderous intent from the figure before him that awakened the assassin’s instincts within the sweet-faced youth. He had never seen anyone with such immense, terrifying power—not even the Demon Lord Grandfather could compare to this man.

The Twilight Knight, following its master, scrutinized the young man with its fiery eyes, displeased but more upset with the dragon that had just clashed with it. At this point, Teshia shifted his beautiful blue gaze to scrutinize the dragon accompanying the man in front.

The dragon was about the size of Fok but sported beautiful silver scales. The blue eyes of the opposing dragon scrutinized Fok in return. It was a rare Holy Ice Dragon, found only in the country of Sivia. The man possessing such a dragon was no ordinary being, showing just how extraordinary he was.

"Are we going to kill each other or what?" The young man with silver hair coldly broke the silence after sizing up his opponent. Teshia glanced at him before replying with an equally icy tone,

"Sorry about that." Despite the apology, his eyes showed no remorse.

"I thought you were a demon," Teshia continued flatly, puzzled by his own reactions. Despite just meeting the man, why did he feel...like teasing him?!!

Teshia felt an unusual urge to provoke the man in front of him, especially irritated by the other's icy demeanor, which he could only describe in one word asâ€Ķ pretentious!!

"I forgive you," the cold voice responded, looking at the blue-eyed youth with an even chillier gaze.

"Especially for the blind ones," the tall figure's words sent Teshia’s temper flaring uncontrollably. Yet, the young man halted, puzzled by why this person could stir his emotions like no one else ever had. Why did he feel like playing tricks upon seeing that cold expression? Was it because he was intrigued by the power and skill of this person?

Teshia, confused by his thoughts, decided to brush them aside for now. Better to think of a way to get back at him first. The young adventurer smirked.

"Someone's acting rather sneaky, aren't they?" This insinuation caused the silver-eyed man's expression to cool even further. Beneath that icy exterior lay a full-blown fury that if you looked closely, was palpable.

But seeing the tall man's demeanor, why did Teshia feel so satisfied?

"Yâ€Ķyou," the young man with silver hair spat out angrily due to his ire. No one had ever dared to speak to him like this, accused him of being a demon, or alleged that he acted like a sneaky thief. But the man before him had just done all that.

    Screech!!

Unfortunately, the words of the man in front were interrupted by the cries of both dragons. If they hadn't cried out, Teshia might have forgotten they were there.

"What is it?" Both voices exclaimed simultaneously, as if by some prior arrangement, but the two dragons, who seemed to have made peace with each other at some unknown point, paid no heed and led their masters through the dense forest.

Following the path led by the dragons, the scene that unfolded before the young men made them both smirk coldly. It was one of the five sought-after white domes, nestled amidst the dense trees.

"Let's go," the two young men said together before swiftly mounting their dragons. Despite being annoyed with each other; it was absurd that they ended up speaking in unison. Couldn't they think of anything else to say?!!
