Teachers were a respectable profession. They shaped people into individuals, children into adults, building the present into the future.

Among them was a teacher named Ying, a renowned high school teacher in the province.

Ying, a high school mathematics teacher, was innovative in her approach. Unlike other subjects where homework was common, she opted to assess students through exams.

Perhaps this was why her students were so focused.

If not for this reason, then for the fact that failing her exams meant not passing her class.

It's tough, yes, but this toughness had become a standard for students to push themselves.

Her exams started with content she has taught, but the latter half included university-level problems.

Did she have the right to set such difficult exams??

Of course not, if it weren't for the fact that she's the daughter of the Deputy Commissioner-General of Police.

Suddenly, it all made sense. Ask if there had been complaints and inspections? The answer was yes, that's because she can handle it, and her argument that "they are the nation's future" had made her an influential figure in education.

Time passed, five years since that time. She continued to test her students. She took pride in seeing her students grew up and advanced to the forefront of the nation, though surprisingly, not one who studied with her during that time had ever scored full marks on her exams.

Today was just another day of exams for Ying. After teaching, she took the exams home to mark.

"How was it, dear?" her husband asked, kissing her cheek and moving past the table where she was marking papers to the fridge.

"The same," Ying smiled at her husband.

"The exam is tough. Who could score full marks?" her husband teased. He had heard of her notorious exams throughout their life together. Ying always took the exam home to grade.

"Hmm~, take a look. She's the top of her class," Ying handed her husband the paper she had just finished marking.

He saw that nearly 80% of the answers were correct.

"Wow, this is the highest score you've ever marked," her husband said.

Ying smiled broadly, "I'm so proud of her. Her name is Som. She’s a girl with a bright future for sure," Ying said before grabbing another set of papers to mark.

Five minutes later, her husband, curious why Ying hadn't continued their conversation, turned to see his wife shocked face.

"What's wrong, dear?" he asked, concerned, as he walked closer to take a look.

The husband glanced at what she held, his gaze drifting slowly.

"Oh, this person must make you proud too," the husband said.

Ying looked at him, then turned to the next page and continued marking. Her husband, standing beside her, watched her grading, and both of their expression gradually turned to astonishment until Ying finished marking.

"Incredible. Is this the first person to score full marks on your exam? God, he’s brilliant," her husband exclaimed, looking at his wife's not-so-happy face, which reflected deep thought.

"What's wrong? Why aren’t you happy?" he asked.

Ying handed him another exam paper with the same name and handed it to her husband.

He took it and examined it.

"He's never answered a single question of mine correctly. But why did he get a perfect score today?" She asked and her husband pondered, "Did he cheat off someone?" he asked.

Ying shook her head, "Impossible. No one else scored full marks on this exam except for him."

Upon hearing that, her husband said something he speculated, "Maybe he knew the exam questions?"

Heard this, Ying pondered briefly, "I need to talk to him," she said.

    ...

After getting off the bus, I walked straight towards the entrance of the house.

The cool evening air, combined with the atmosphere of the night, made me feel a sense of solitude.

I walked continuously until I reached my house.

"Whose car is parked there?" I asked, looking at the familiar black car.

[The same car as the client from yesterday,] Yo remarked, assessing the likelihood.

[So, she knows already,] I thought to myself before entering the house. The first thing I saw was my father sitting and drinking tea with a man in black.

"Hello, Dad," I greeted him with a traditional Thai greeting.

"Hey, son, you're back. Someone's been waiting for you. She says she'll wait in your room," Chat said.

"In my room??" I asked, puzzled.

"Yes, she insisted on waiting there," Chat continued.

"And you let some stranger sit in my room just like that," I said skeptically.

"She's pretty," Chat said with a mischievous smile.

"Oh, come on, Dad," I exclaimed before heading to my room.

Dad might not be aware that I have a computer I'm working on in my room.

Opening the door, what I saw was a young woman typing on my keyboard.

I walked over, placed my bag down, and sat down to watch her as she typed some code.

    "How's it going?" I asked.

"How did you do it?" she retorted.

"Why should I tell you?" I responded.

"I want you to work for me," she said, her eyes still fixed on the screen filled with various codes.

"Why should I work for you when you can't even crack my code?" I said with a smirk.

The young woman, upon hearing this, immediately turned to look at me.

"What do you want?" she asked.

"You should work for me," I said, smiling.

    "Why?" she inquired.

"Aren't you interested in those?" I pointed to the codes running across the screen.

She looked and seemed troubled before saying, "I'm interested."

"See? Join me, and you'll get to know them," I said.

"I'm Hin. And you?" I asked.

    "Luna," she replied.

"Then, I'll call you Lu," I said.

"Whatever you say. But what are you going to do next? With your skills, there's probably nothing you can't hack now," Luna said.

I smiled slightly before looking up at the ceiling and declaring, "I'm going to protect the world." I said firmly in a determined tone.

Time slowly passed. Not hearing her reply, I turned to look at her.

Luna, who had heard this, was now trying to hold back her laughter.

"Is that supposed to be funny!!!" I shouted.
