    Chapter 2

Liu Yi You ran wide eyes opened to meet Vice Chief Zang, approaching him with a deferential demeanor.

“Master,” the young girl greeted, pressing her hands together in a formal salute.

Vice Chief Zang leaned back slightly, sipping his drink which, if one noticed closely, steamed slightly in his hand.

“When will you stop creating that ice manor?” Zang Zilu put down his cup, which now appeared to be frosted over.

The girl gave a forced smile, “Master... I’m currently training. I can’t train at the manor because Xiao Meng would fall ill. Everyone here is a cultivator, so please let Seventeen stay and train here.”

Zang Zilu’s eyebrows twitched. The Liu family couldn’t manage her, so they had sent her to him.

    The problem was…

    He couldn’t manage her either.

He couldn’t send her back to the Liu family either. Now that they had several young children, sending her back would mean she would lead the children into mischief, skating on ice she called “ice skating.” Whenever the children fell and hurt themselves, she would apply medicine to their wounds and then encourage them to play again. She was quite the leader for both the young and the older children, so the Liu family almost begged him to take care of her.

    However…

She continued to construct bizarre things here and play with snowstorms. It’s unknown what her fascination with snow was.

Though she was still young, at twelve years old, other children her age might already be thinking about marriage, but she remained stuck in the demeanor of a seven-year-old. And it wasn’t clear whether it was because of her physical youth or something else, but her behavior seemed to grow increasingly childish by the day…

Vice Chief Zang scratched his brow lightly.

“I heard you wanted to make a snowman.”

Liu Yi You looked down shyly, responding softly, “Snow dolls, Master.”

“Do you want them to be movable?” the young man raised his eyebrows again.

The girl didn’t speak, merely nodding gently.

“In the Mei Guo continent, there is a school that can summon spirits to inhabit objects. Would you be interested in studying there?” Zang Zilu glanced at the girl with a neutral expression.

The speaker had unknown thoughts, but the listener’s eyebrows twitched.

Previously her father had said, “Yi You, you are grown up now. Even though your body hasn’t grown, you are already twelve years old and have studied many scriptures from the academy. You should repay the school.”

After that, she was sent to the Thara Academy.

What Liu Yi You truly didn’t know was that her parents had given birth to a younger brother named Liu Xiao Meng, who was three years old. Of course, she adored her younger brother. Over the past three years, she had been vying with her mother to take care of her brother.

Importantly, she led Xiao Meng into mischief.

The two often went ice skating. When with Liu Yi You, it was fine because the little boy had his older sister to look after him and prevent injuries.

But when Liu Yi You was away, Xiao Meng still often sneaked off to engage in activities his sister had introduced him to. Then, one day, Xiao Meng ran off to skate at high speed. When he tripped, his face slid across the ice. Unfortunately, he collided with a block of ice, bleeding from his mouth, but luckily the family had good medicine, so he was not seriously hurt.

Liu Yi You often took her younger brother on risky adventures, even flying. And when she often flew, Xiao Meng would cry to his parents wanting to fly. Liu Fuzhen would carry him and jump around, but Xiao Meng was not satisfied. He told his father that he needed to fly high like his sister flew.

Indeed, Liu Yi You possessed Asura wings and could fly up into the air. However, Liu Fuzhen didn't have such an ability; if not a sage, who could possibly walk on air? Not even the half-sage from the Bai family could do it.

The siblings were too close to each other, so much so that Xiao Meng didn't care for anyone else and even picked up strange behaviors from his sister. Ultimately, Liu Fuzhen had no choice but to send Liu Yi You to the Thara Academy indefinitely.

If she were given tasks within the family to keep her busy, she wouldn't have time to invent myriad ways to play with children. But because everyone viewed her as still a child, even though she was twelve, she remained perceived as a child, not due to age but because of her appearance.

Liu Yi You was indeed more capable than many adults, so whenever there was a problem, many chose to consult her. However, they would only take her advice, and when she came up with ideas, everyone else would carry them out instead. As a result, she was left with nothing to do.

With nothing to occupy her time—no television, no cell phones, no internet—she would just play all day, and now her behavior truly resembled that of a child.

And now her master was suggesting she go to the Mei Guo continent—not really for a vacation, was it?

“Are you sending me on vacation?”

“It’s better called learning,” Vice Chief Zang raised his tea for a sip, his face smiling but not quite smiling.

Liu Yi You looked at her master distrustfully. Since when was her master so kind-hearted?

But despite her suspicions, her curiosity won out over everything else. She had roamed this continent for five years and there was no place she hadn't visited. Even the Hundred Arts Academy had stated they were not welcoming to her anymore, as every time she visited, she caused trouble, making her rather notorious.

The girl pursed her lips, thinking for a moment, then easily agreed.

“When do you want me to go?”

    “Whenever you wish.”

Vice Chief Zang watched the small figure walk away, feeling incredibly conflicted. He truly cared for her, almost as if she were another daughter of his, but perhaps because he indulged her too much, she had become such a mischievous child.

The Qi Blossoms Academy had effectively become a playground for children, and none in the school even realized that Liu Yi You was not their elderly master.

She should actually be at the Qi Blossoms Academy, but Liu Yi You adamantly refused to be a nanny. So, the girl wheedled, pleaded, and wreaked havoc in every possible way until he finally agreed. From then on, managing the Qi Blossoms Academy fell on his shoulders.

The young man reclined casually, sipping his tea before lifting the corner of his mouth. Here, everyone was too eager to please; no one dared to harm her with the kind of power she possessed. Perhaps sending her out to face the outside world might help her release what she truly was and possibly grow up.

Of course, Zang Zilu did this with the best intentions.

    However…

Li Zun looked at his master with complex eyes.

Was the master sending the young disciple out to play, fearing the world was not chaotic enough?

Li Zun wasn’t worried about Liu Yi You because he knew well the nature of her. He was just worried about what would become of the Mei Guo continent once Liu Yi You arrived.

    That was all.
