In times past, there were two lands locked in an age-old enmity…

The first land was the realm of humans who wielded magic and dragons, named Vaden.

The neighboring land, known as Dark, was the domain of demons.

Humans and demons never coexisted; as neither species ever lived alongside the other, a war of unimaginable scale and endless duration erupted between them—a conflict filled with relentless loss and devastation, reinforcing the eternal enmity between demons and humans.

Over thousands of years, countless lives were lost in this senseless struggle. The overwhelming toll compelled the human and demon monarchs to broker a peace pact.

The humans sent a male infant to the demon realm, the prince of Forland, third in significance in Vaden, while the demons sent a princess, a daughter of the Demon Lord, to the human lands.

However, as time passed and the human monarch perished, the demons seized the opportunity to attack the human race and reclaimed the princess, unaware that she was pregnant with the offspring of the human king, the future King of Drago, replacing his late father.

After the princess of the demon realm was taken back, a fiercer war erupted again. Loss and sacrifice occurred everywhere, with tears flooding the earth in mourning for the loved ones lost. Eventually, a seer, defying fate, prophesied the end of this war, though such predictions demanded an equal exchange—she was willing to foresee the outcome of the war even if it meant sacrificing her own life!!

“A girl will be born to end the war, a girl from both races, accompanied by a guardian dragon. She will rewrite history, bringing peace once more. Her power will protect us, her arms will sustain peace, her hands will support both realms, and she will devote her body to the land,” this prophecy is still vividly remembered by all, with the seer’s tears falling alongside her sorrowful smile.

“Yet, sadly, her heart will be sealed, and only one man will unlock it. Indeed... she alone will save our Vaden, and finally, Dark and Vaden will find peace,” the last words of the seer were echoing before she collapsed, breath taken from her…

This is the law of prophecy, an exchange that must be equal.

Years passed, and many stories were distorted; some even faded from memory. The people of Vaden knew only that the demons had invaded human lands and abducted the Prince of Forland. No one knew of the peace pact that had once been agreed upon, nor the truth behind what had occurred.

For many years, everyone continued to search for the young woman prophesied, but unfortunately, no one knew. She was not in Vaden, the land of humans and dragons, but in Dark... the realm of demons!!

Day after day passed in wait. It was a long wait filled with loss and tears. They awaited the dual-blooded princess, hoping to find her and hoping... for peace to return as before.

It has been said that humans and demons cannot coexist. Never!! But she will come to change... change everything!!

After fifteen years of waiting, while the people of Dark praised their princess, a young girl with a beautiful face and long, blue hair, her blue eyes were, however, empty of any emotion... eyes that never smiled and never felt. Perhaps only her lips could curl into a mocking smile.

Standing next to the fearsome and formidable Demon Lord, her slight figure under those clear, blue eyes as unpredictable as a stream, no one could tell what the young girl was thinking.

However, beneath her noble daytime persona as a princess, by night she was trained to be the most ruthless assassin, her hands stained with the blood of many. Night after night, screams echoed through the empty darkness, forging her heart into the sealed vessel foretold by prophecy, closed to all and understood by none!!
