In the luxurious mansion of the Setter family, the emaciated body of a young man lay stretched out on his bed. Anyone who saw his condition would be frightened; his stomach heaved up and down laboriously with prominent ribs like a corpse still managing to breathe. The sight would instill fear in the face of any onlooker.

"Having seen my son, can you now tell me if you are able to heal him?" The deep voice of the head of the authoritative Setter family resonated nearby.

Ellie, now under a black cloak sewn together from her parents' leftover fabric, looked every bit the part of a pauper. If not for the Setters being desperate for a cure for their eldest son, she might have been thrown out from the start.

"Of course. Then go fetch the medicine that contains “Tezetrons” in the separate room and let no one else enter. Otherwise...I will cease my aid for your son," came a hoarse voice like that of an old man from beneath the cloak.

This was the effect of a voice-changing mushroom in Ellie's memory. They grew on mountains and were not hard to find. However, they were considered poisonous and useless mushrooms that not only changed the eater's voice but had no other apparent use. Of course, that was just the villagers' belief, but our clever heroine had found a good use for them. With plenty of these poisonous mushrooms near the village, she had often disguised herself as various individuals to gather information about different situations.

Before the heroine got to use it, let's allow this Ellie to benefit first.

Unlike the heroine who had to randomly eat various mushrooms to get the desired voice, Ellie could inspect them with her own power of botany. She knew which mushrooms would give her the voice of an old man and which could mimic the small voice of an elderly woman, thus saving her time unlike others.

"Understood," the head of the Setter family agreed. The old man knew his son had ingested medicine containing the rare Tezetrons component, so the credibility of the other party was not in doubt.

And yes! Ellie knew from the story of the novel as well.

The eldest son or the elder brother of one of Nara's grand harem heroes was afflicted with a disease that consumed his own life force and could not be cured unless he received enough power from Tezetrons flower.

Those Tezetrons plants were rare enough, and finding their flowers was like searching for a needle in a haystack!

It’s known that they exist, but not just anyone can find them!

This event where the heroine worked hard to save the hero's elder brother would endear them to her further, but above all, it was just an adventure that made the story a bit more interesting. If it were destroyed now, it wouldn’t significantly affect the heroine and hero not ending up together.

So, Ellie chose to use this opportunity to make a favor with the Setters, also to secure what she wanted for herself!

The Setter family owned a variety of treasures. They were high nobility with both money and power, thus the importance of the second son in the Setter family, who was another hero, was no less than that of a prince of the country.

After the heroine helped the hero's elder brother, what she received in return was a light magic wand. However, there was another item she desired greatly, but if forced to choose, she would select the most important item for herself.

Ellie did not want to interfere with the heroine's acquisition of the light magic wand because even without helping the eldest young lord of the Setter family, she believed Nara would still obtain that precious item. As the Lady of the Setters, there was nothing she couldn't acquire!

So...that empty dimension with endless space and an inexhaustible clean water pond, she might as well claim it!

To prevent her agricultural produce from being stolen again, Ellie decided to take actions that would slightly alter the storyline, such as speeding up the recovery of the eldest son of the Setter family.

Currently, the young lord from the Setter family received medicine daily, which included a powder from Tezetrons plants as an ingredient. It gave him a slight boost of life force to manage his symptoms. If Ellie could make the Tezetrons plant bloom, she would receive a substantial reward!

"This is the medicine the eldest young lord receives daily. Please inspect it," said the important butler of the Setter family as he approached with the expensive medicinal powder. He looked at the small figure under the cloak with suspicion. However, he was a guest of the family since the family head had already declared that anyone who claimed to have a cure for his son would be given a chance!

"Understood, you may leave now," Ellie's raspy voice responded. The butler nodded and left.

Ellie's slender fingers touched the various powders to determine which was the Tezetrons. Naturally, it was challenging because the herbs had been finely ground. However, after just 40 minutes, she finally found it!

Due to the rarity of Tezetrons, the physicians could only use it sparingly, just enough to sustain the young lord's condition in hopes of a fortunate breakthrough should they find a Tezetrons flower, which would immediately cure him.

Regrettably, it had been 10 years since the boy had grown into a young man, and still, no Tezetrons flowers had appeared!

Using her own powers, Ellie tried to make the Tezetrons plant flourish. However, this level 7 herbal plant was no easy task; it had grown only a palm's length before her power was exhausted.

Her eyes shimmered with astonishment; it seemed even her considerable power was insufficient. She looked at the herb in front of her with regret. Nonetheless, she had discovered a new way to make money.

Even if she didn't get her hands on the empty space of the Setter family, she still had the Tezetrons seeds, which could generate a handsome profit for her. Just using her power daily to enhance their growth, even just the leaves of the Tezetrons could sell for more than 1 gold coin each, meaning she would be wealthy from then on.

Ellie tucked the palm-sized Tezetrons plant inside her blouse. She wasn’t worried they would be suspicious because she hadn’t taken anything significant; only a tiny amount of powder had disappeared, and they had no way to detect it.

"Come in," Ellie said in her usual old man's voice. She feigned a sigh and then returned all the medicine ingredients to the Setter’s butler, shaking her head to herself.

"It seems only the Tezetrons flower can truly save him," she remarked. Hearing this, the butler sighed heavily, stressed.

Originally, his actions were highly suspicious, but after hearing his request to inspect the young lord’s medicinal powder, there were no questionable actions to be found.

This person wasn't here to deceive; he didn't ask for money or engage in any wrongdoing. He only spent his time here inspecting the powdered medicine which would later be used to treat the eldest young lord. Of course, the medicine that had been inspected wouldn't be used again; no one knew if the other party had tampered with it by adding poison.

"Didn't you say you could help?" When the head of the Setter family heard these discussions, he felt slightly displeased. Although he knew the other party hadn't tricked him out of anything, the disappointment of not being able to help his eldest son was substantial.

"I did say so, indeed. I initially thought I could concoct a remedy for this young man, but upon seeing his ingredients, I understood. Mild medicine won't work anymore; only something potent like the Tezetrons flower will do." Ellie then pulled out a sprout of Tezetrons from her chest.

Seeing this, the butler's and the family head's eyes widened in shock, realizing that this old man was the real deal!

"Is that a Tezetrons sprout?" asked the head of the Setter family with significant excitement.

Normally, Tezetrons plants were cultivated in a magical zone, a secret place exclusive to the royal lineage, known to be incredibly rare, and seeing such a sprout with roots was deemed impossible.

How much effort the royal family must put into cultivating them so they thrive. The medicinal components obtained by the Setters were also thanks to the royal family who provided these vital ingredients; otherwise, the eldest son of the Setters would have died long ago, even though it meant a substantial cost that the Setters had to pay.

"Yes, while I was experimenting with cultivating them, until now, I couldn't make them bloom, given the overly gloomy environment. Once they grow a bit, they attract numerous magical creatures, and ultimately, the fully grown Tezetrons plants get stolen. I was too busy dealing with the magical creatures to have enough time to care for these Tezetrons."

Ellie lied grandly. She could only do these wrong things to achieve what she needed.

She estimated that she should not have accelerated the growth of the Tezetrons immediately. The level of regular vegetables and others was not like this critical Tezetrons plant; otherwise, wouldn't the protagonists saw it as a significant event? But Ellie also didn't believe that this young Tezetrons plant couldn't do anything.

"Uh, you, you've been experimenting with cultivating Tezetrons?" The head of the Setter family, who had never heard such mysterious things before, was speechless, but such a beautiful root in front of him was hard to disbelieve.

While botanic elemental users had tried for hundreds or thousands of years, they could never do this.

It must be said that the botanic elemental users here were not like what Ellie understood. Previously, she was just an ordinary villager, or even as a wandering spirit, she was just a person from another realm and had never read about how botanic elemental users operated in the novel. No wonder she didn't realize how precious her own powers were.

"Esteemed Mage, could you please tell me with which plant species you have formed a bond?" This question slipped from the mouth of the head of the family, his respect for Ellie inexplicably heightened.

Even this young woman from another world sensed the oddity of the situation. What does "a plant with which one has formed a bond" mean? And was her success in nurturing the Tezetrons plant really that astonishing?

Upon reflection, if a botanic elemental user could make any plant grow, why then couldn't this great Setter family find the Tezetrons flower themselves?! Clearly, there must be a significant reason for this, such as...not everyone can make plants grow as she had!

"Isn't this inappropriate?" Ellie suppressed the other party with her elderly tone, making them cringe.

Now that these people believed Ellie was a significant figure, they dared not bother her too much. Even the head of the Setter family feared her temper!

"I, I apologize, Esteemed Mage, but regarding your concerns, I believe I can indeed help lighten your burden," the head of the family said, to which Ellie silenced her voice.

It seemed like it was time for the fish to bite the bait, didn't it?
